Swap out the hummus for pesto – I happened to have extra pesto leftover from this pine nut pasta salad, and used it on this flatbread as a whim.Do your kids love pizza? My picky kids would eat pizza every day if they could.Top with shredded chicken – grab some shredded chicken and add it to your flatbread.I usually prefer the mild variety, but if you want some spice, grab the hot version. Add banana peppers – If you want a bit of a slight kick, add some banana peppers on here.I usually just sprinkle it on top of the parmesan, but you can use one or the other if you like. Add feta – I love feta cheese, and the salty flavor is perfect with these ingredients.There’s truly no limit to what you can put on these flatbreads! I love how these flavors play together, but I have tried a few other things that also were fantastic: I told you! Other than cutting up a few ingredients, these are ready in no time. You’re looking for a crispy crust and melted cheese! Next, stick them in the oven to bake for about 8-12 minutes.Top with the tomatoes, olives, onion, and your shredded parm.It’s not the end of the world if you opt for the already shredded version, but it may not melt as easily. When it’s pre-shredded, there are additives in the cheese, which prevent it from melting as easily as the freshly shredded variety.
